Ask Around to Find a Great Gambling Site

By asking people that are in the know, you will be able to find a gambling site that will suit your every need. The best way to find out if a gambling site is reputable is by asking people who have experience. This way you do not go into the decision making process blind. They will be able to give you some information on which sites are good, and which sites should be avoided. Experienced people in this industry can also give you a lot of information on the sites themselves, and how they operate.

In order to find these people you must first know where to look. And the best place would definitely be online message boards. There are two different types of message boards to look for, and neither one is hard to find.

First off, you can find a generalized message board that will offer information on a lot of different sites. These boards will often have a broad range of information on a number of different sites. You will find tons of different opinions here.

If you are looking for more detailed information, visit the actual message board of the site you are considering. These boards will offer up advice from members who know the ins and outs of the site. You can tell them that you are interested in joining, but have a few questions first. Most people are more than happy to help out, because the more members there are means more money for everybody involved. The only bad thing about a site like this is that you may have a hard time finding information on the downfalls of the site.

Using message boards are a great way to find a lot of information on the online gambling site that you are considering. Be sure to check these boards out before joining any online site.

The Options Available for Getting Discount Tickets to Broadway Shows

When trying to obtain tickets to a popular show or play on Broadway it can be both difficult and costly. Unfortunately this is due to the fact that the more popular a show is the more people are likely to want to see it, which results in the you having to go the extra yard to get the tickets that you really want. But hopefully the tips provided below will help to make this task a little easier.

Firstly knowing that discounts are available is one thing for these shows, but knowing how to get them is another. Certainly Discount Ticket Codes will be able to help you when you are looking to purchase some tickets.

A discount ticket code is a secret code that are designated to a particular show on Broadway and these are usually only given out for marketing purposes and anyone with such a code will find that they receive a discount of between 25 to 60% on the price of the actual shows ticket. If you are able to get hold of these codes then you can use it to buy a ticket directly from the shows box office or from one their authorized ticket outlets (agents).

If you were to carry out a search of the internet you would find that there are various placed where you are able to get hold of these discount codes, all you need to do is type in the phrase “Broadway Discount Ticket Codes” and you will find that the search results will provide details of websites that offer these. However, you may find that many of these websites offer these codes for a small fee (say between $4-$5). This is certainly a small price to pay when comparing it to the amount you will save on your actual purchase of the shows tickets.

Also apart from these sites providing you with discount ticket codes they also provide such information on what shows are actually on, the scheduled run and some reviews.

When looking to purchase tickets for a Broadway show it is a good idea to buy them in advance as booking in advance will not only secure the seats that you are after but will also give you hefty discounts on top as well.

Virgo Analyzing and Criticizing Creative Art, Service and the 6th House - I Learned This The Hard Wa

Virgo is profoundly important in the scheme of… everything, but Virgo rules the 6th house which is beneath the horizon. And this means that Virgo works should be done behind the scenes, before something (crosses the horizon) and become public.

Now if there is a problem with something that is already public, then Virgo should try to fix it… to HELP which is Virgo’s job but this should be done behind the scenes and let me tell you, I learned this the hard way.

About ten years ago I upgraded my astrology software. I was upgrading from DOS to a Windows version of the same program, so this was awhile ago. More than ten years.

So I bought the upgrade and these programs were expensive. So you may imagine how upset when I received the upgrade, installed it and found what I maintain to this day was a SCREAMING flaw. It was a flaw so bad I thought the whole software unusable for my purposes. It was just awful… this was my perspective.

So I figured I was wholly screwed. There was nothing I could do because the software was non-returnable, or at least it was at the time. So de-installed the thing went back to the DOS version (which I was thrilled with) and decided the least I could do is warn others.

Now back then there was really only one astrology mailing list and I used to post to it all the time, several times a day. And astrology software was routinely discussed so I thought nothing of posting to say… whatever you do, do not buy this upgrade because it SUCKS!!

I went to sleep that night and boy I almost fainted when I woke in the morning to several scathing mails… he called me “a sick and malevolent bitch”, from the author of the software. I was stunned, because I am neither sick nor malevolent… and I immediately burst into tears.

Long story short, fact is when I posted this negative review, I killed that guy’s business. He had been working on this upgrade… trying to make a living and his customer base was who? It was astrologers who used computers and guess who was on this list? Virtually every customer or potential customer he had. ::wince:: Think I messed him up?

Well I’m sorry for that. And believe it not… well at the time this was just horribly ugly. It was so bad for me, I puked! The software was returned, my money refunded, the mail (from the user) was devastating… and me? Well I was hiding under the bed by then. I just could not handle this guy’s knife. You know how you have to get a thick skin to be on the internet? Well I didn’t have a thick skin. I had a thin skin, but anyway this story has a good ending.

Several years passed and I was still using this DOS program. But eventually I wanted to be able to email a chart which was impossible for DOS so I needed to upgrade, so now what.

I couldn’t just go buy a different brand. I have YEARS of birth data entered, so I decided to write the author.

“I am very sorry to bother you… I know you don’t want to hear from me, but I have to upgrade my software now and if you will not sell to me, I will have to buy from someone else and if I buy from someone else, I will have to go on the list and ask if anyone knows how to transfer my data…”

Long story short, this relationship was completely healed. We both wanted it. Everybody got to vent… and I really got to see this from their perspective and I can tell you this for sure:

I have no made a mistake like that since. It is HARD to create something. That guy said, ‘you should have written me directly and asked what I could do…”

He was right. What I did was innocent, and it was defensible but you know what? He was right and I still use their software.

Virgo = 6th house. If you want to criticize, do it before the thing goes public. If the thing is already public, do it behind the scenes and always, always do it as a service.

A Note On The Victorian Crinoline

The crinoline is the dome-shape wire frame that stands out as a defining feature in Victorian dress. Its origins, what led to its development and what replaced the crinoline are important in understanding Victorian costume. The crinoline was patented in 1856 and you could say that this is the year it appeared.

In some way the crinoline replaced the layers of petticoats that went before it but ultimately it was to give the dome-shape that was popular. Remember that in the 1830s the silhouette was a wide bell-shape and as the decade progressed the skirts became wider. The bell-shaped developed into a dome shape. Extra layers of petticoats were used to add the required bulk and width.

The dome shape was important and it was something that the layers of petticoats couldn’t properly produce. You can say that over the preceding decades, the dome-shape was the singular important silhouette that developed and the actual design and structure of the proper dome shape was something to be aimed for. The crinoline you could say also helped to begin to free women from the layers of petticoats and the effect of the crinoline was to create shape that the layering of petticoats failed to give.

Victorian dress, rightly or wrongly, could be said to have a certain stiffness and demureness. The look of the woman was one of demureness. The proper position, look and gait were important. Remember too that in the 1840s, there was a noticeable restriction on women’s arm movements too. This was because of the dropped shoulder seam line and this added to the overall Victorian effect of demure femininity in this time. When analysing the development of the crinoline, it is important to analyse the development also of the bodice as well as the skirt up to the crinoline’s appearance.

Remember too that around 1840, the gigot sleeve disappeared, with its shape and bias at the top, and it was replaced by a straighter sleeve. This aided in creating the V-shaped bodice look in this period. The sleeve was now much narrower and tighter. There was also the dropped shoulder line which restricted movement. The bodice is important in heightening the effect of the crinoline. The early Victorian look at this time was of a tight bodice with narrow waist. This heightened the effect of the domed skirts beneath.

March Of The Penguins (DVD) Review

One of the more surprising films of 2005, and perhaps the most intriguing, was March Of The Penguins, a full-length feature film documentary cut from the same mold as a PBS National Geographic special. Directed by Luc Jacquet, the film had its origins in France, but the narrative theme is neither French, nor English, or for that matter, reflective of any nation’s cultural influence. Instead, March Of The Penguins is a truly rare cinematic masterpiece that transcends borders, language, and culture. Its brilliant portrayal of the Emperor penguin in his natural habitat offers universal appeal to audiences everywhere by reinforcing the themes of love, companionship, life, and the struggle to overcome the hardships of an oftentimes cruel and unforgiving world.

The US version of March Of The Penguins is narrated by Morgan Freeman, a stellar choice for the role as his precise, yet folksy, voice serves to underscore the magnitude and the magic of the annual journey endured by these fascinating animals. The visuals of the film are powerful in their own right, but I doubt the movie would’ve enjoyed the massive commercial success it did without the strength of Freeman’s performance. In the opening scenes, Freeman introduces us to the Emperor penguin and its icy homeland of Antarctica. As winter approaches, penguins from all over the continent make an instinctive annual voyage across rugged and inhospitable terrain in search of the ancient Emperor penguin mating ground.

Along the way, audiences learn every particular detail of the arduous task that awaits the Emperor penguins. With thousands gathered together, each must find a mate. Once the relationship has been consummated, a single egg is the product of their pairing. But the egg is fragile, subject to easy fracture and the hazardous conditions of extremely low temperatures. As such, the male penguin must protect the egg while the female returns to the ocean in search of food for herself and her yet to be born offspring. In the interim, high winds, driving snow, and freezing elements pound away at the swarm of male penguins as they desperately protect their respective eggs. Amazingly, the herd instinctively protects itself from the relentless cold by rotating those on the outside into the middle and vice versa, so that the burden of the cold weather is shared equally by all.

Once winter subsides and the females return, the newly hatched baby penguins face the additional threat of predators. The males must make their own journey to the ocean, and the budding toddler penguins must be initiated into the ways of their world, all so the process can take full-circle and start all over again next year…

One of the highest grossing theatrical documentaries ever released, March Of The Penguins is an utterly fascinating film. In contrast to the usual mind-numbing action-packed blockbusters produced by Hollywood (and demanded by those of us in the viewing public), March Of The Penguins is both educational and entertaining. You’ll find yourself perched on the edge of your seat in anticipation as these rugged creatures engage with the harshest elements of nature. You’ll root for the heroes and boo the villains, but despite the absence of a contrived Hollywood plot, you’ll find yourself truly captivated by this charming film – the story of struggle, the story of triumph, the story of life… March of the Penguins.

Comoros Casinos

Comoros casinos are unfortunately rather thin on the ground. Not all that much of a surprise, of course, as it is indeed a small country with three main (but small) islands and a number of much smaller islets and outcrops. It also has a very odd legal system, a mixture of sharia (or Islamic) law with bits and pieces of the old French colonial system (otherwise known as Napoleonic law).

Given the small population, their intense poverty (the Comoros is one of the poorest countries in the world), and the almost non-existent tourist industry, the absence of a long list of Comoros casinos really shouldn’t be all that surprising. The fact that there are any at all on a few fly specks on the map in the Indian Ocean is something of a surprise, especially given the local penchant for military coups.

The full and complete list of Comoros casinos depends slightly upon whom you ask. All are agreed that there is one in Moroni, the capital, on the largest island, Grande Comore. Called the Itsandra Hotel and Casino, it has, at the last count, 28 slot and video gambling machines and two blackjack tables. There is also, at least according to some reports, another in Moroni, La Galawa Sun Casino. This is said to have blackjack, poker, roulette, and the usual slot machines.

We think it would be fair to say that the Comoros casinos are not about to add greatly to the list of the world’s most fabulous or best-attended casinos.

There may, in fact, be more additions to the list of Comoros casinos over on Mayotte. Unfortunately, while the Comoros government claims that Mayotte is a part of the country, the inhabitants seem not to agree. They actually voted against becoming independent from France in the first place, so France, kind as she is, continues to administer this one island in the group from Paris.

While that might sound odd, it isn’t quite as strange as what happened in Anguilla, a small island in the Caribbean. The inhabitants there (all 8,000 of them) were so unhappy at becoming independent, along with several other neighboring islands, that they actually had a revolution. It was not a revolution in favor of a change of government, or for independence; no, rather, they demanded to become a colony again! Which they indeed did and are to this day.

So, while the Comoros might have a casino or two, they are probably better known for part of the country voting against independence.

Steve Irwin: Crocodile Hunter - An Australian Icon

Occasionally – just occasionally – there comes along a TV personality whose enthusiasm and charisma engenders almost universal affection with audiences. Environmentalist, naturalist and documentarist Steve Irwin – known the world over as the Crocodile Hunter – was one of those rare personalities.

Born Steven Robert Irwin on 22 September, 1962 in Melbourne, Australia, Steve Irwin was the owner and manager of the Australia Zoo in Beerwah, Queensland. The zoo, originally called the Queensland Reptile and Fauna Park, belonged to his parents, Bob and Lyn.

As a young man Irwin worked as a crocodile trapper in Queensland, catching and removing crocs from populated areas. While he didn’t draw a salary, he worked on the condition that he could keep the crocodiles he captured for his parents’ zoo.

After taking over management of the zoo in 1991 Irwin met his future wife, American-born veterinarian Terri Raines. Following a whirlwind romance the couple married, and the video footage of their crocodile-trapping honeymoon was aired as the first episode of The Crocodile Hunter, the series that made Irwin an international celebrity.

The success of The Crocodile Hunter led the Discovery Channel and Animal Planet to commission several wildlife series from Irwin, including The Croc Files, The Crocodile Hunter Diaries and New Breed Vets. Known for his expansive personality and boundless enthusiasm, Irwin’s documentaries made him an Australian icon – often ridiculed, but just as often praised for his idiosyncrasies.

What made Irwin such a popular figure with audiences the world over was his fearless attitude to wild animals. Often seen chasing snakes, crocs and all sorts of dangerous creatures, audiences tuned in not so much to see the animals as to see Irwin’s unbelievable feats of courage and fearlessness. His documentaries gained such a huge audience that they were adapted to the
2002 movie The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course.

Irwin’s enthusiasm for his subject matter, however, occasionally got the better of him, and his career was fraught with controversy. In an incident in 2004 he took his infant son Bob into the crocodile enclosure during a public show at the Australia Zoo, holding him in one arm while feeding a croc with the other. Irwin, however, refused to apologise for the stunt, insisting that the child was never in any real danger.

Again in 2004 Irwin caused controversy during a trip to Antarctica, facing allegations that he disturbed whales, seals and penguins while filming a documentary.

Irwin’s life came to a tragic end on the morning of September 4th, 2006 while filming an documentary on the Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Queensland, Australia. While filming a stingray he approached too close and was hit in the chest by a barb, causing a fatal injury, and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was 44.

Steve Irwin is survived by his wife Terri and his two young children, Bindi Sue and Robert Clarence.

While Irwin always lived life on the edge, we never really expected him to be killed. There was just something about the confidence with which he handled dangerous creatures that made us think that he was invulnerable. His antics weren’t quite real – if they had been, we may not have been so quick to laugh.

It came as a surprise, then, for us to wake up to the news that he had been killed. Even more so, considering the manner of his death. After all, Irwin was only the third person to be killed by a stingray in Australia. Rays are usually considered to be relatively docile, and it’s even possible to feed them by hand under the right conditions.

Irwin’s death, though tragic, can perhaps be viewed as one final act of showmanship. He won our hearts with his death-defying stunts and it seems fitting that he should go out with a bang. While it would be crass to make light of his death, it could perhaps be argued that this is the way he would have wanted to go, while living right on the edge. Maybe that could come as some small consolation for the family of a man who died before his time.

In life, as well as in death, Steve Irwin was an Australian icon: a modern day, real life Crocodile Dundee. He was everything we think of as typically Australian: rugged, adventurous and dangerous, though not without a sense of humor. While Australians were often embarrassed by his antics, thinking of him as a caricature of Australian stereotypes, that’s exactly why the rest of the world adored him.

Steve Irwin was a passionate advocate for the environment, a tireless promoter of his country, a great entertainer and a loving husband and father. Often controversial, always entertaining, there will always be a place in our hearts for the Crocodile Hunter. The world is poorer for his absence.

Upright Pianos - What Are the Benefits?

Most people choose an upright piano as a necessary evil. If they had the money, they would probably get a grand or baby grand piano.

But there are many benefits to owning an upright piano. Economy, lower prices, and decent sound are all factors to consider when purchasing an instrument. In this respect the upright piano wins hands down. You can place it flat against a wall. It saves space and adds it’s own special ambiance to a room. In fact, upright pianos are beautiful pieces of furniture in their own right!

What about sound? An upright pianos sound comes from the back of the piano. Most uprights have lids that allow the sound to come out and bounce off the walls giving a more expansive acoustic quality. It’s a fact that some very good uprights sound as good or better than their baby-grand counterparts! Key action these days is computerized and set at the factory for optimal response. While the touch and feel may never equal a grand piano, the needs of most players do not require concert pianist key action.

They’re excellent instruments to learn on. Why spend thousands of dollars on an expensive piano when an upright will serve your needs? You get a real acoustic instrument that will supply you with years of satisfaction. And when or if you want to sell it, the upright pianos of today have a high resale value. They’re traded in and sold all the time on ebay and through newspaper classifieds.

Overall, upright pianos are a fantastic bargain if you’re looking for an instrument that gives you a real acoustic performance at a low price.

Illegal Aliens March 3 Miles To Prove A Point?

You know our habit watching these illegal alien marches in generally they are less than three miles in one has to ask themselves why are they so short? For instance the black Americans in their million man March had over 100,000 people who marched three point to miles as opposed to these illegal aliens who only March 3 miles.

Look, if you want to impress me I want to see you run a marathon carrying your G-darn flag. Because it seems to me if you can run, jump or swim you can become an American. If this is why the Mexican government has such a small Olympic team. Because anybody who can do any of those three things is already here.

Additionally, if these illegal aliens are such great workers and take off a whole day’s work to March, then why can’t they do more than three miles? Had he picked up to many bad habits from Americans were eaten too much American food and got so fat they can’t make it any further, well? Answer me.

Personally if they can do more than three miles in the take a whole day off of work to do this, then I don’t think we need any more lazy people in our nation. Thus, they should leave. Recently I was a carwash getting my car cleaned and the border patrol showed up and everybody started screaming “La Migre, La Migre” as they jumped over hoods, ran around cars and took off like a bunch of bats out of hell.

Now mind you I did not chase any of them down, instead I grabbed my keys because it is mine I do not want to give it to any one who borrows it to ditch the border patrol and drive it all the way back to Mexico. But I digress, my point is if they can run that fast, surely they can walk more than three miles a day. Consider this in 2006.

Plot Points — Frenzy (1972)

Plot points are linear links that make up the chain of traditional Aristotelian 3-act dramatic structure. This classic structure worked well in Hollywood for almost a century now. Although young movie makers are forcing the limits of this structure, plot points still rule the day as the “tent poles” that hold up of the circus of our dreams. Here are the plot points of Frenzy (1972), a Hitchcock classic, as I see them.

Frenzy (1972)

Starring: Jon Finch, Alec McCowen, Barry Foster, Anna Massey, Barbara Leigh-Hunt
Directed by: Alfred Hitchcock
Writers: Anthony Shaffer (Screenwriter), Arthur LaBern (Story)

ESTABLISHING SHOT: A grand bird’s eye view of London. Flying over River Thames towards the London Bridge.

INCITING INCIDENT: Another victim of “necktie murders” found swimming naked in River Thames. The public is mortified.

PLOT POINT 1: Robert Rusk, the fruit wholesaler, strangles his old friend Richard Ian Blaney’s ex-wife, Brenda Margaret Blaney.

MID POINT EVENT: Rusk kills Blaney’s girlfriend barmaid Babs Milligan.

PLOT POINT 2: Blaney is found guilty of killing both his ex-wife and his girlfriend Milligan, and is sent to jail.

3rd ACT RESOLUTION: Rusk is caught by Chief Inspector Oxford and Blaney right after he kills yet another girl in his apartment. A surprise and quick ending.
