Energy of the One Mind: Consciousness and Feeling

The multi dimensional nature of whom and what we think we are in this human form, is explained.

Consciousness flows on many levels and in many directions. There are planes of existence that the human mind can tap into and become aware of the whole plane and it’s connections. Some of these planes are just on one level like the group consciousness of the human mind.

We could look at this like the balls on a billiard table. One ball is hit into the pack and all the other balls move to a new equilibrium and await the next thought or the next ball being hit. Groups of people and individuals move in the same way. The group reacts to the actions and thoughts of the individual just like the ball on the billiard table.

The above example just explains the thinking process on one level. Consciousness is on many level and planes and connects us to our surrounding in many ways. Some levels of consciousness go up and down, some in flat linear planes and some in spirals and circles.

We are more than out physical body and our consciousness is part of the whole. We are intimately connected to all that is. We live in a field of energy and everything in our environment is having an influence on us every second of every day.

The question is: are you a reactor to your environment, like the balls on the billiard table? Or are you the creator? Our mind, consciousness and feeling are bringing many influences to us in every moment. But our mind is connected to all the millions of possibilities that our out there.

When our mind is present in the moment we can choose what we wish to create. If we are not present, i.e. maybe living in our past or projecting into our future we may be living in fear.

When we are fully present in the moment and coming from our heart centre we flow our energy from love, which is the opposite of fear. Love is free and creative and uses our imagination to create a grand future for us. Love is aware of our environment and our thoughts but is not bond by them.

Love can tap into one of the other planes of consciousness and bring in or create an outcome that may not have been thought of before. Our belief system forms a mask, which we look through to see the world. But love allows us to change our mind and change our beliefs and therefore change the world and our experience of it.

For a few minutes just reconnect to all your five senses in this moment of now. Make a conscious intention to look clearly through your eyes at what you are seeing. What you see may be a clear summers day with mountains and lake. Or you may see a field of energy with the different frequencies of light giving you the different colours, depending on the vibration of the source of their omission. We may see that the mountains are over there and we are over here or we may see the field of energy connecting everything together as one, with no separation at all.

You can do this with each of our senses; our hearing hears the sound waves. Our touch feels the vibration of the molecules and atoms through our fingers. Our sense of smell feels the vibration of the air molecules. Our taste is sensing the vibration of the food we eat.

I am just asking you to start to be aware of the connection of all things on many planes and levels flowing in different directions. See yourself as a part of the whole not separate from it. Bring your consciousness into the moment of now and live your life from love.

Choose a purpose for life from your heart. Create the type of world, which you would love to live in. Be true to your heart and your feelings and you will experience joy in your life. Allow your energies to expand and be free. Your heart is connected to an infinite source of energy. Let it flow freely to all who come in contact with you.

There is nothing that you need, only that which you can create for your self. I would be pleased to receive your questions or comment on the above.

Watch Satellite TV On The Web - Be An Informed TV Viewer

Watching satellite TV on the web is a new idea even to some of the TV viewers in today’s world. TV is confined to the TV set. Such is the thinking of some of our older folks. We cannot blame them, after all, to watch satellite TV on the web is still such a fresh new concept. Only the younger ones who are so in touch with technology and gadgets probably know what it is. But soon enough, it would spread as more and more people are starting to wonder how it is like to watch satellite TV on the web.

‘To watch satellite TV on the web is an exhilarating experience’, said Jones, a typical 17 year old. People can now watch satellite TV on the web because it is convenient. With a computer and an internet connection, you can start to watch LIVE satellite TV channels online immediately. There is no need for satellite TV dishes, receivers and so on. Before we forget, there is also a need to install a proprietary PC satellite TV software before you can watch satellite TV on the web.

This way of watching satellite TV on the web beats the current method of watching TV with the monthly services provided by cable and satellite TV services in terms of its convenience and ease of installation. Even kids who know how to play around with the mouse are able to install the software onto the computer. Using PC satellite TV software also ensures you get reliable TV connection since it is not affected by weather conditions unlike satellite TV dish systems.

Compared to conventional satellite dish systems, there are other advantages to watch satellite TV on the web. Here we are making a quick comparison between PC satellite TV software, services provided by satellite TV and cable TV providers, and the DIY satellite TV dish system. Satellite TV and cable TV providers control and limit the number of programs you can watch according to the package you subscribe for. Quite often, you get at the most two hundred quality TV channels. DIY systems on the other hand depend on the size and reach of your satellite TV dish. As with PC satellite TV software, it comes ready with a group of more than three thousand channels.

The TV channels you get to watch on the web using PC satellite TV includes both world and local news, sports events, TV shows, movies and so on. All these programs are free to watch since they are FTA broadcasts from worldwide TV stations. So it does not matter whether you only understand English, French, German, Chinese, Japanese or other languages, the software is still relevant and useful to you since you can always find a program in your native language.

Since this is a piece of software, you can either burn it onto a CD, or even store it in your thumb drive and carry it with you. If you wish, install it on any computer with an internet connection and you would have instantly turned the PC into a satellite TV for you to watch satellite TV on the web. So with a one-off payment, you effectively hold the power to enable any number of computers into satellite TV sets. The picture and sound quality of the satellite TV programs you get to watch on the web are all crystal clear and DVD-quality.

Find out more details at my free satellite TV guide about this software that is delivering TV programs to millions of homes today. Start to watch satellite TV on the web in an hour from now.

Numerology, Astrology & Predestination - You Can Only Manifest That Which Matches Your Karmic Plan

Some of our New Age friends claim they can erase all of
their karma and create whatever they desire.

No more relationship, family, money, or health problems.
Sounds good!

Alas, years of empirical research convinces us that this is
impossible.

If it were possible to create whatever you wanted at any
time and erase your challenging karma, numerologists
and astrologers would be unable to predict your future
circumstances. Interpreted correctly, numerology and
astrology charts consistently reflect your predestined
life situations.

It sure would be nice to have a totally clean slate in life and
experience only what you consciously choose, but it appears
that nobody has the ability to skip the difficult lessons.

A numerologist saying to a client, based on her charts, (with
no knowledge of that person prior to the session), “…you fell
deeply in love age 36 for the first time in your life…” and the
client saying, “…yes, it was wonderful, and it still is…” supports
the notion of fate and destiny, rather than absolute free will,
especially since that same consultant would have identified
the event in the charts before the client was 36.

As another example, some struggling actors “make it” and
many don’t. Although the “path” itself is oftentimes more
important than the desired destiny, expert numerologists can
accurately determine who is destined for fame, wealth, or
success and who is not.

Even the charts of so-called self-actualized people firmly
indicate that they do not have free will to erase their karma
and create as they wish. However, being self-actualized
allows one to more easily accept situations and forgive
people, so they glide through life with more ease than
others.

Many feel it’s more accurate to think of life on earth as the
process of co-creating what is to be. A reasonable theory,
based on life between life research, is that we all have
complete free will as souls, but much of it can only be
exercised before we are born into this world.

Yes, you must take action at the right time and put one
foot in front of the other to bring about fate while here
on earth, but to expect to be able to consistently “create
the life of your dreams,” is unrealistic, unless of course
your dreams are aligned with your destiny.

Many metaphysical practitioners promote such notions as
“create your desired reality” and “erase your karma” (”anyone
can do it!”). Unfortunately, their clients who fail to reach goals
mistakenly assume they didn’t try hard enough or that they
didn’t deserve to get what they wanted, when in reality the
goal may not have been part of their highest path.

Instead of feeling like a failure because you didn’t “create”
something you wanted, it’s more effective to get in touch with
your individual fate and true earthy purpose. In doing so, you
more easily recognize your highest path and apply free will
more constructively. Then, when you “go for it,” you’re much
more likely to succeed because you have time, destiny, and the
Universe on your side.

188 Stage Hero’s Journey (Monomyth): Meeting the Oracle

The Hero’s Journey (Monomyth) is the template upon which the vast majority of successful stories and Hollywood blockbusters are based upon. In fact, ALL of the hundreds of Hollywood movies we have deconstructed (see URL below) are based on this 188 stage template.

Understanding this template is a priority for story or screenwriters. This is the template you must master if you are to succeed in the craft.

[The terminology is most often metaphoric and applies to all successful stories and screenplays, from The Godfather (1972) to Brokeback Mountain (2006) to Annie Hall (1977) to Lord of the Rings (2003) to Drugstore Cowboy (1989) to Thelma and Louise (1991) to Apocaplyse Now (1979)].

THERE IS ONLY ONE STORY

THE HERO’S JOURNEY:

a) Attempts to tap into unconscious expectations the audience has regarding what a story is and how it should be told.

b) Gives the writer more structural elements than simply three or four acts, plot points, mid point and so on.

c) Gives you a tangible process for building and releasing dissonance (establishing and achieving catharses, of which there are usually four).

d) Gives you a universal structural template upon which you can superimpose your situational story.

and more…

*****Meeting the Oracle*****

The Oracle is that which guides the hero toward his expansion of consciousness, represented by the tangible (bride, power, treasure). Often all three are gained - with the attainment of the treasure comes the power and the reward (the bride). In Scarface (1983), Tony takes Frank’s empire, the money that comes with it and his bride, Elvira.

Downloading iPod Music-Pitfalls-Tips And Tricks

Downloading iPod music online can be a tricky business if you are not careful. You may wonder what’s there to worry about. Everyone else, even your neighbor’s dog is downloading music for iPod while he is watching TV, right? I encourage you to join me in a quick walkthrough on the pitfalls, tips and tricks of downloading iPod music.

Sure, if you are downloading from iTunes, then every worry that you may have can be laid to rest. However, if you are a little adventurous and want to try new iPod download sites, or perhaps tight in your pocket and just want to get some free music to enjoy, then the following information is important to you.

You may have probably come across free download sites, or even are downloading iPod music from them. Then I have some alarming news for you. Despite claims by these free download sites that downloading iPod music is safe, users are unknowingly downloading bundled adware and spyware when they use the download client to access these music files online. Let’s face it, the free sites need some form of revenue to keep their sites running isn’t it? The endless streams of pop-ups when downloading music are also extremely annoying.

The legality of downloading iPod music from these sites is controversial. While it is fair to say that downloading shared files produced by amateurs that are home-made, ie not commercial and copyrighted audio files is legal, you are still treading in grey areas because you never know when you are downloading copyrighted music. If you can live with all these uncertainties and vulnerabilities, then go ahead and download music from them by all means.

Since there are so many problems associated with downloading iPod music from these dubious sources, a logical conclusion would be most people would download iPod music at stores such as iTunes, eMusic, etc. Strictly speaking, if this is the only safe option other than the free download sites, then most folks would be getting their music there at $0.99 per piece or anywhere between $0.70 - $1.99 per track. This is after all cheaper than getting a CD that only contains 1 or 2 tracks you like since you can download 10 of your favorite songs from different singers instead of entire albums. But by today’s standard, this is not cheap at all. I will explain why.

What if there are download sites that offer you a lifetime access to download iPod music for a one-time fee? We are not talking about expensive country club memberships which only the well-heeled can afford. Consider this offer these sites make; a full lifetime membership for downloading iPod music – unlimited music, songs and music videos at anytime at any place in a totally secured environment free from viruses, adware and spyware at the price of a few cinema tickets and snacks thrown in. All these sound too good to be true but whether it is real or not, the music community is the best judge for it. In case you are not informed, many music enthusiasts have opted for this alternative as the mainstream resource for downloading iPod music. If you are curious and want to learn more, read my blog to get the scoop of what is happening in the music community and where people are flocking to download incredibly cheap music for their iPods.

Corona del Fraile (And Dennis’ Recent TV and Radio Appearances)

“Corona del Fraile”

Beyond the old dirt road, the fields, and

trees—a mountain stretches away;
Simmering, broken here and there:

clumps of trees, makeup the crown
On the mountain (Corona del Fraile).

Motionless I stand, on the old dirt road—
See the dissolving blue, behind the

September sun, above the mountain—;
My face against the cool faint draft

(it comes steadily from somewhere);
Yet, the air is too warm to be called

a breeze—.

Here,
I hear the drowsy murmur of voices;

here, natures stirs the soul, lulls it to
Sleep—almost; like a hymn humming;

here one must savor the moment,
Lest he have many to spare…!

A Photographer’s Dream

A location bathed in Mediterranean sunlight all year round? Where friendly locals vastly outnumber tourists and where the only high-rise development is the mountain range sheltering the cost-line? Well, I’ve been there, and so can you. Northern Cyprus. Mostly neglected in favour of its highly commercialised neighbour to the south, the northern part of the island has always been thought of as difficult to access and therefore attracts a mere fraction of the tourists that flock to Cyprus. Ancient ruins, azure skies and crystal seas abound. As do colourful villages, traditional buildings and very photogenic and friendly locals. All of which makes it a dream come true for the keen photographer. Especially the keen photographer who is also keen on combining a living or hobby with a decent holiday now and then!

If you enjoy ancient history as a backdrop, then Saint Hilarion Castle is a good start. Perched high in the mountains, and with rather too many steps to the top, the visitor is rewarded with stunning views. But beware, heat haze, especially in summer is a problem. Best to make a very early start for the clearest views. If you feel a little less energetic, then Bellapais Abbey offers many beautiful views and its mellow stonework glows in the sun. There are many more historic treasures, such as the Roman ruins at Salamis on the island’s east coast. All but untouched, there are priceless pieces of mosaics and wall paintings still to be found here and all are easily accessible. Salamis lies at the gateway to the Karpas Peninsula, which affords possibly the greatest treats. Seemingly all but untouched by human hand, the Karpas stretches up to the far north-east tip of Cyprus. Over 80 kilometres in length and up to 20 wide, this is an area where farmers still use horse-power in the original meaning and where you can drive for miles without seeing another human being. It is also home to some amazingly beaches, some literally deserted and some, the nesting sites of rare species of marine turtles. There is much more in the Karpas to delight the nature photographer too, with many birds and uncommon insects. Not to mention meadows full of wild flowers and rare orchids early in the year.

There is a more lively and populated side to the island too, though in true Mediterranean fashion, nothing ever moves fast in Cyprus. Busy, colourful markets can be found in the towns of Nicosia and Famagusta and the region is home to literally hundreds of restaurants – from the smallest of traditional coffee shops to beautifully-decorated establishments serving the best of continental cuisine. When it comes to travel and accommodation, the choices are now quite wide. Certainly, cyprusparadise.com Northern Cyprus has a good range of hotels, including some international standard five-stars. But some of the best experiences can be had in smaller, family run property, which also offers exceptional value. You can fly direct from the UK (with one short touchdown) and it is now also possible to fly into southern Cyprus and cross the border unrestricted.

Power supply can be a little erratic, again in traditional Mediterranean fashion! But digital enthusiasts will be surprised to find it is mostly UK style ‘three-square-pin’ outlets at 230 volts. For the traditionalists, there are limited processing facilities and although there are plenty of retail outlets, you are unlikely to find any esoteric film stock. if your preference is for Velvia, be prepared to take your own! Travel early or late in the season for the mildest weather and clearest skies. In April and May, the island is green and awash with flowers, but you may catch cloudy or wet days. September and October bring crystal-clear, blue skies, but greens are faded by the summer sun. Following the recent lifting of border restrictions, Northern Cyprus is becoming more widely known and low land prices are encouraging villa development. Travel now and point your lenses at one of the only remaining unspoilt parts of the Mediterranean. While you still can…….

Impressionist Paintings

Impressionism was one of the most important art movements in the 19th century that began when a certain section of artists from Paris began a public display of their art. This name was coined after the famous painting of Claude Monet. In the late mid-19th century, artists such as Claude Monet and Pierre-Auguste Renoir began painting in a new style, which was later coined Impressionism. Monet named his painting of a harbor at dawn as Impression: Sunrise. This term was also used by a critic Louis Leroy in a satirical article in Le Charivari to describe the Paris-based artists.

Impressionist paintings have distinct characteristics such as light colors, visible brushstrokes, and open composition. Impressionist painters lay a lot of emphasis on the light and its variations. Generally, the subject used for impressionist paintings can be very common. Impressionist painters paint in short and thick strokes to produce the desired effect. The focus is more on the essence of the subject instead of the details.

Impressionist painters usually work outdoors to be in close proximity with nature. While painting landscapes and other outdoor scenes, they work for a short period of time. When the light changes, they discontinue painting and come back again the next day at the same time. Impressionist artists usually paint rapidly to capture the effects of changing light.

The works of Impressionist artists were contemporary and often involved modern subjects. Impressionist painters utilized raw and unmixed paints. They followed their impulse while selecting a particular subject. They depicted ordinary surroundings in their paintings and used techniques such as uneven colors, shadows, and varying light. Some painters even painted the same subject several times in a day to demonstrate the effects of changing lights.

Broken brush strokes create a variety of textures, which look very natural and appealing. Impressionist paintings look bright and radiant as many painters avoid the use of earth and black colors. The colors are usually unmixed to give the paintings a natural look.

Some of the most popular Impressionist artists are Claude Monet, Pierre Auguste Renoir, Camille Pissarro, Alfred Sisley, and Edgar Degas. They have produced some of the finest impressionist paintings.

Breakdancing: The Roots of The Street Dance

Breakdancing is the street dancing which began around 1969. Most people will agree that the superstar James Brown began the whole thing with a dance called the “Good Foot”. James Brown was a real innovator and his dancing was something to behold. He did things with his feet that would give most of us a couple of broken legs!

Simultaneously in the ghetto, what is known as the “dance battle” became very popular and in many cases replaced gangster warfare as a method to end disputes. Breakdancing lent itself very well to the dance battle and the Good Foot was a perfect base for breakdancing.

Street dancers adopted the Good Foot which, for a short period, became known as the B-Boy and then breakdancing. Back then the dance moves were a lot different to the kind of breaking we see today. There were no popular, documented moves such as the headspin or the windmill. The dancers simply used their feet and nothing else. Some would argue that this “old style breaking” is more complicated than the kind of dancing we see these days.

Some of the floor work improvised back then was fantastically complex. If you go to a modern breakdancing competition you won’t see many of the old school moves but you will see a lot of gymnastics. Impressive though this is, there are those that think breakdancing has lost its roots a little. On the other side of the coin you have people saying that it’s just an evolution.

As a way to solve street battles and gang violence it was inspired. You were finding that amazingly, the gangs were using breakdancing instead of fighting. The breakdancing “battle” took on a world of its own. Of course there were still fights and inevitably sometimes a sore loser in a breaking battle would resort to violence.

Out of all this, breakdancing crews were formed. The members of a crew would practice and dance together. This is when the first very basic breakdancing choreography came about. One crew would invent a move which would inspire an opposing crew to go one better. For some of these guys breakdancing was literally the difference between life and death. They were very dedicated to what they were doing.

Just as all these new breakdancing crews were bursting onto the scene a guy called Afrika Bambaataa embraced the genre. Afrika Bambaataa is a legendary figure in the hip hop world. He was largely responsible for bringing breakdancing into the general public’s consciousness. He got to know all the crews and encouraged them to develop what they were doing. Bambaataa’s “Zulu Kings” breakdancing crew became a force to be reckoned with, winning many battles.

Since then breakdancing has continually progressed and more and more very talented dancers were bringing their skills into the arena. There were new moves being invented by the week and it wasn’t long before we had headspins, windmills, backspins and all the other high energy, acrobatic moves we see these days.

The “Rock Steady Crew” were one of the groups to pioneer this new school breaking. These guys along with Charles Ahearn who made the seminal hip hop movie “Wild Style” were to bring breakdancing fully up to date and the dancing phenomenon became much more popular. There was no stopping the onward march of the break dance.

Nowadays breakdancing influences a lot of the choreographed dance routines which are an integral part of a modern pop record release. You have young kids coming up who are really into it and the genre is experiencing something of a renaissance. There’s no doubt about it, breakdancing is here to stay and if you want more info a quick search on the Internet will turn up thousands of references to this modern art form.
